FIELD WORK IN ANATOLIA

I went to Türkiye in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2024 as part of my PhD and postdoc work. The field team has included Turkish, French and American geologists and paleontologists. We've worked across western and central Anatolia to reconstruct the history of continental collisions, to understand links between paleogeography and biogeography, and to test new applications of detrital petrochronology techniques.
